Hey, so, like. There was someone around here who probably saw a big event involving Kamala and I'll need to talk to them. I've got a good idea of who, but I'd appreciate someone reaching out to me so I don't have to hunt down someone else and we can just like, text. Like normal people. Or you can find me and my sister somewhere, I'm not your mom. But it is imperative.

Also, anyone who was holding their breath on Kiko being normal can continue to suffocate until the heat death of the universe and someone owes me several boosters and to help with my letter writing campaign to make more Ghoti for my fishbowl.

[Event]

After her disaster with Kiko, Eira is spent. But she persists. She can be found in the following places, looking like she hasn't slept in days:

1.) The Occult Club room at night. She appears to be waiting for someone. Godot, maybe?

2.) At the docks on the island, staring out to the sea, making weird hand gestures at the air.

3.) Nearly passed out on a roof. Unfortunately for those interacting with this one...

"Right. And detonating that seal... that's an interesting idea. Could work."

She pats Braxi's head.

"A yin-yang... un-Bright..." She snaps her fingers a few times, then nods. "Thanks again, Braxi."

she's... definitely stronger than me i think right now, the waking me. but flimsy... and yeah... like bad girl bright or something i dunno.

::Placing her head on your lap as she lets Luigi run around in a circle.::

"Yeah, well, that's why you've got me and Helen. And probably another few people. And she's probably flimsy because she's just subsisting on all of that caffeine."

She pauses, considering, playing with her cousin's hair as she talks.

"I guess the idea I had originally of copying Bohr and Echo's techniques of copies is a really solid one. Damn, you said you wouldn't be good at this, and here you are, spouting godly wisdom regardless."

::Thinks... Her hair's very nice and soft and silky.::

... i have bohr if you need them, they're incredibly pathetic now, though. and miss sadame says i'm smart, just... i learn differently. something about my brain... isn't wired normally anymore?

but you should. definitely. like load ms. bright into a cannon and shoot her at herself, except the other her is her with a leather jacket and a bike and a wooden sword or something i dunno.

"I'd need any notes from Bohr I could get... But I think I've mucked around enough that I understand the principles of what Bohr and now Echo do to make those duplicates. I'd need the juice to pull it off though, like the stunt Helen did in the Arcology. This last time, I mean. Not the stunt we pulled in the arcology to become teens."

A blink. ... Eira realizes something about her life path and how very... normal it is.

"And, I think you're pretty smart too, Braxi. I think that's a good summation of you. ...I'll think about the cannon and Bright. Or something similar in principle, at least."

... ... ... oh time shifted and you did that together instead of just helen? ... though, juice... ... you'd either need like divine power, a miracle, or a powerful relic since ms. bright has the real bad stuff on her.

"I don't think it's a full temporal shift, more of a weird memetic effect? But it could be temporal, I guess. I try to not think about it. When she bound me to her to save me from the void, I know I got alot of her memories but from a different point of view. And I guess sometimes it seems like it's actually altered 'real' events, but I don't think it ACTUALLY has."

She pauses.

"Trying to think of how Helen and I exist is a good way to go insane even for us, so we're gonna stick a pin in that thought and revisit it later when I have the time to shriek about my existential dread."

She laughs a little as she continues to braid the hair.

"Well, luckily I think I'm braiding a goddess' hair and she seems inclined to be kind to me and help me help my friend. Miracles are all around us. And a relic... Well, there's an entire island full of them here."

yeah, just i'm immune to the reality juggling, and only helen was there, not you, eira. but, you're still family to me. ... well, i'm not sure what good i'll be right now, i think the most i'm inclined is to make you go viral with cute pet pics... but i can try and be there and wave pom poms or wear a jacket and headband and go 'osu!'...

... oh right, i. keep forgetting to deal with everything on this island...

mostly because professor logan keeps getting in everyone's way when they try to go to black magic places to help me. and professor sadame's lessons are the first time i... don't feel stupid...

"Well, yeah, I know I PROBABLY wasn't there. It's just easiest on my brain to just assume Helen and I have been very real for fourteen years and not the actual truth that's happened, because otherwise I'm liable to spiral into a screaming fit."

Pause.

"I'm glad, because you aren't stupid. You're pretty smart." A small pull as she's pulling out fish and star hairclips to put in Braxi's hair. "I'll head to a site if you think that'll help. Like Helen and I care about professors, especially boring ones like that."

oh yeah, i have to do that with my original grandmother, i prefer the new version of her before she became cringe and after she was a jerk. or else i'll scream.

... maybe try and dig up anything around the colosseum that was built on the island 20 years ago. rumor has it an amazoness had it built by the male students but that would be so dumb.

::She's tired, but she's snarky. And the fish and star hair clips look really good with her ruby red hair, especially with this lightly translucent energy.::

"I'd believe it. Twenty years ago would be before the male student population became an endangered species like it is today. If you look closely, you can find one. Probably."

Eira bursts out into a giggle-fit and tousles the hair a bit before leaning back from it.

"Ta-da! Ghoti really goes with your hair, Braxi. Lemme get a picture of this."

and maybe, but the place being built seems silly.

Eira flashes her own handsign and takes a pictures of the two of them.

"I guess. Should I be looking for anything in the arena?"

I dunno.

A sword maybe? A keystone? an amazonian girdle of strength? there's got to be something still there, right? maybe the place itself is enchanted?

"We'll see then. I hope I'll get something useful for us at least... but..."

Eira pauses, writing down sites to go and dig at with Helen.

"So... even with just like... a temp fix, I can't get Bright off the island, even for a day? Just to let her to see Domino proper for a bit?"

I... don't think there is a temporary fix.

Whatever's wrong with her, it's like there is no Miss Bright, and her world stops at the island...

like we're only dealing with a faint photocopy of her...

... i wonder if we put a bucket of dirt made of the island dirt and have Miss Bright sit in it and take it off the island would work or it recognizes only the super structure of the island...

"Afraid you were going to say that. Go big or go home it is on that front..." She sighs, idly twirling Braxi's hair.

"That last idea is basically what I thought, but pushing out a faint photocopy into Domino proper... well, I don't think I could keep her stable with a bit of dirt mimicking the super structure. At least, not for long. So... I think I got a plan. Maybe not a good one, but who says they have to be good ones?"

You'd. Need to like. Airlift the entire island to Domino for that to maybe work?

Which isn't. Impossible with Aunt Hirume and Aunt Reinhilde. Technically?

Hmm, but I don't think that's the answer you want?

"Little bit brute force for me, and while not impossible, way more effort and more disruptive to too many other people." Eira drums her fingers.

"It's not. I think the anti-Bright idea has the best merits. I'll still need Helen to pull it off, but I think it's doable. In the same way we've been doing our family, we can do Bright, I think. I cut the shape of the anti-Bright into reality, Helen fills it in with whatever horrible impossibilities she's doing, I'm not thinking too hard about it. If we think we need the extra juice, we do it at the same time we break your Seal of Glory with what we can pilfer from the island."

I'll do what i can. But... i need to do something about... the waking me first. until we deal with her i'm no good to anyone. but. i do wanna help you three. it feels unfair how much you and ms. Bright have been screwed over.

... I think the food is helping a little?

::Yawning, you can tell she's a definite wreck and needs all the naps forever, though.::

"Yeah, that's our first concern. You've got me and Helen at least and maybe a responsible adult or two. And it's only a few demigods, signers, and maybe a well meaning but ultimately in the dark teacher. Nothing we can't handle. And... I'd say I haven't been screwed as much as Ms. Bright since I can still go anywhere I want. I just want to help her off this stupid island, no matter what."

She laughs, gently playing with your hair.

"I'm glad. I'll get you tacos and bon-bons next time."

but not at the same time, those two make me queasy if i eat them together.

... yeah, mr. logan's... a good man I think but. he's. really kinda dumb. and you've been screwed over. who'd want to be 14 forever.

"Not everyone can have the iron stomach Helen and I have."

She shrugs.

"Dumb is fine. Easily guided at least. And, yeah, well, when the choices are 'exist but you're 14 until you and Helen can eat enough magic juice to advance' or 'stop existing entirely' there's a VERY simple answer." A hand wave.

"I'd really, really like to not repeat high school for the third time. Even if I'd be going with you, Braxi. That sounds like a you and Helen thing. I'll just go to college. Finally."

maybe i'll go to college with you while i'm dreaming.

"Maybe. You should do at least one year of high school before joining me, even if Ms. Sadame fast tracks you. I'll make sure at least one of us stays with you this time."
