So, if someone allegedly poked their head where they weren't supposed to with a lackey and then they allegedly saw a fellow student die of sand disease and then allegedly saw a demon in alleged haunted abandoned dorm how would they go about maybe dealing with an alleged demon infestation?

A "story", huh?

Yes. A story about a handsome, talented young man and his dim-witted but charming lackey who thinks she's a cat.

This handsome young man out of curiosity alone and not a powerful distaste for authority, decides to investigate an abandoned dorm and finds it's full of demons. He also discovers a species of bears that have been taught how to duel but are in decline from assaults by a 'terrible screaming monster.'

That second part is still in progress.

My suggestion is that technically, they'd end up getting into trouble for mentioning having gone to the abandoned dorm long enough to realize there's demons in there, but that also the reasonable statement is that the young man must've seen things.

Or there's a psychic duelist hanging around in places they shouldn't be.

Well, yes. But this alleged young man feels it is his duty to maybe warn SOMEONE that there are things like this, even if it may be alerting authorities to certain things. Alleged things no one has proof of.

And seeking advice on how to deal with them should he encounter things in the future.

When it comes to demons, you should punch them in the nose to assert dominance.

Which as a note, I'm not kidding there. Usually if you have the guts to do that, they're kinda taken off-guard enough that you can get out of arm's reach.

Yes.

Fatal means there's no coming back from it once it reaches that point, irregardless of what you do.

Even the flu can be "deadly" if problems happen, but most people get the flu without dying, right?

He dusts the sand off of himself.

"Yeah. Colly darted, but... I think it was guarding something in the basement of the dorm. Didn't really try and kill me after I left the steps."

"Then the abyss becomes you."
